Zombie Broads Reviews
Chicago Tribune- Not Recommended
"...The script is courtesy of Factory regulars Corrbette Pasko and Sara Sevigny, who haven't quite landed on a tone or style or storyline that makes sense. Nor, really, a sense of fun! We meet a group of off-the-gridders prepping for a zombie invasion - I think they're members of a book club? Maybe? - and it's never clear if they are meant to be cranks or what, but these are the characters we're supposed to get behind. The problem is, they are so thinly drawn, you're never invested in any of them, let alone remember their names."

"...The Factory Theater has never been bashful about going hard with its humor before, so it's curious that this katana-wielding comedy-one that includes a splatter zone-plays it so safe. Director Janice L. Blixt employs a few clever and laugh-inducing bunraku puppetry images (albeit too often repeated); the rest of the two hours shows how difficult it is in 2016 to come up with new zombie jokes."
Time Out Chicago- Highly Recommended
"...Once the zombie outbreak is in full swing, however, Zombie Broads finds its sweet spot. The performances are still big, but the circumstances swell to fit them. There is plenty of action—choreographed with delightful gusto by Matt Engle—but also a surprising amount of pathos. ZombieBroads delivers on the undead part of its title, but it delivers on the human half too."

"...Zombie Broads has a nice blend between believable every day moments and the fantastic catastrophe of the zombie apocalypse. Cameron Feagin plays Phyllis, the scientist responsible for creating the zombie cream, with a duality where she wants to win a Nobel Prize, but that thankfully doesn't overshadow her want to also make the world a better place where no one grows old."
