Apple Tree Theatre in Highland Park

Apple Tree Theatre in Highland Park has been producing award winning plays and musicals since its inception in 1983. Now nationally known and highly respected, Apple Tree has remained an artistic and cultural force in Chicago theate for 22 years. Apple Tree moved to its present location, an intimate 177 seat theatre in Highlan Park after starting out in the same church basement previously used by Steppenwolf Theatre.

Apple Tree Theatre closed in 2009 and the site is now home to The Music Theatre Company.
