"...The small Polarity space emphasizes the corseting tension of three people living on top of each other, but it’s the offstage violin music of Blanche’s demons that truly unsettles. It’s an old song but still a chilling one."

"...This Polarity Ensemble Theatre rendition of Tennessee Williams's 1947 masterpiece is solid, but never achieves the epic emotional scale of which the work is capable. Focusing on the tense psychological triangle between faded southern belle Blanche duBois, her sister Stella, and Stella's brutish husband Stanley Kowalski, Williams's tragedy explores the fears of death and mental illness that haunted him."

Steadstyle Chicago- Recommended
"...There are other fervent portrayals from Abigail Trabue as Stella and Alex Thompson as Mitch, and bolstered by fiery supporting work from Lauren Cerkiewicz and Jason Eisnewski as the neighboring Hubbells. But this production ultimately is an opportunity to watch a true star performance from Laura Sturm as Blanche. This intelligent and lovely actress resists most of the chances to chew the scenery, as she yearns for beauty in an extremely ugly world. Sturm is mesmerizing."
