Clitoris Stories Reviews
Clitoris Stories

"...Haglund's dogged navel--well, clit--gazing makes much of this two-and-a-half-hour show feel several decades out of date. She and her ten-person ensemble act as though the organ were as mystifying to a contemporary fringe-theater audience as a comet to medieval clerics. The performers are savvy and engaging--Jenn-Anne's skittish turn as a harried soccer mom with time to masturbate only once a week is one hilarious high point--but Haglund recycles only a few obvious ideas for most of the evening."

"...While Clitoris Stories does contain a few comedy gems and serious pieces that prove entertaining and enlightening, some pieces drone on too long. Haglund also draws too often from the theme of “Stupid men! The clitoris is located here!” "
Centerstage - Not Recommended
"...You would think a play called "Clitoris Stories" would be more, well, stimulating. Instead, the entire production airs like a bad episode of Tyra Banks's talk show, hosted by slumber-partying tweens who have just discovered their anatomy and need to giggle about it for two hours."
