"... Laufer's wise and witty little "grass is always greener" fantasy is a good showcase for Scott and Ellen Phelps, even if the production surrounding them is fairly flat and lackluster. Dreamier lighting and a more inspired depiction of the Mediterranean would have given Citadel's production more of a romantic feeling. Still, I can think of far drearier ways of spending 90 minutes than in the company of such excellent pro's as the Phelps'. Their special camaraderie puts the spark in "Sirens" sail."
