"...Mistaken identities, gender bending, twin siblings separated by shipwreck, unrequited love...sounds like a Shakespearean romance is brewing.  Midsummer madness, indeed, but the real madness would be missing Janus Theatre's exceptionally delightful romp through "Twelfth Night".  This terrific little production will be enjoyable to nearly everyone except die-hard Shakespearean purists.  Sean Hargadon's neatly streamlined adaptation takes less than two hours including intermission to unfold, and some of the Bard's lengthier speeches and plot development do get cut down.  But it is true that even in Shakespeare's own day his plays were cut, adapted and abridged to fit the needs and resources of the acting companies presenting them.  I applaud Hargadon's ability to boil down the original play to its essence and make for a thoroughly entertaining and accessible summer treat."
