"...A couple of potential lead characters emerge but fizzle as the plot--about servers struggling to keep up with an onslaught of customers--barrels down its one-gag track and the cast divvy up solos without regard to vocal talent. Still, there are a few moments of charm. Boasting an impressive set of pipes and wry comedic timing, Carla Kessler delights as the authoritarian shift manager."

"...Over-the-top characters, skillfully choreographed fight sequences and a bright rock score brimming with whimsical lyrics by Dan Krall and Josh Zagoren give this original show its strength. At times the overzealous actors unnecessarily scream their lines and lyrics, somewhat assaulting the audience within the tiny Apollo Studio space. But mostly this is an enjoyable evening full of likable characters, humorous adult ditties like "The Squids are Comin'" and "The Fuckin' Happy Ending Song" that will be easily appreciated by anyone who has ever worked in the hospitality or retail industries."

"...This show, running about 75 minutes is filled with zany characters.  The upper manager, the trainer, who wants the position of upper manager, and will do anything to get there, the new waitress, the other waitstaff, the maintenance man and the Latina bus-boy/dishwasher who I believe represents all of the behind the scenes workers.  They are actors and writers and will seem familiar to you if you dine out a lot.  As the story progresses on this very hectic night, and they face the battle of the demanding diners who make their lives miserable, we learn more about how difficult it might be to keep that smile on your face despite the grief they are given in hope that the tip will be comparable to the service."
