"...In a sense, Feldshuh, who has technique to burn, gives us a rather old-fashioned acting demonstration. She puts on the wigs and the clothes (slacks, turtleneck, loose men's shirt and, later, Spencer Tracy's red sweater used as a shawl). She taps into the vocal intonations (though often they sound more Noo Yawk than Fenwick, Conn). And she strikes several familiar poses with conviction (though the leg planted firmly on the edge of coffee table, with just a hint of male swagger, is a bit too insistent). Yet where Hepburn came to everything with a combination of swooping grace and coltishness, Feldshuh works at it."

She also demonstrated a remarkable graciousness in her opening night curtain speech that suggests if ever a good will theatrical emissary between New York and Chicago is needed, she's our gal. Hopefully she won't take so long in the future to return to the Windy City."
