Godshow is an original play written by, and starring Second City alum Tim O'Malley. Tim O'Malley's play is a true (as best as he can recall), look back at his life coming up the ranks at Chicago's famed Second City theater in the 1990's. It covers O'Malley's battle with bitterness and sense of entitlement, alcoholism and drug addiction and down to his bottom. Then back to life, the stage, and to recovery. A mix of monologues, scenes, songs, video and some improvisational moments is the format of the 75 minute play. Four supporting cast members play aptly everyone from O'Malley's treatment center mates, to his family, to God.
