Description:
Hobo Junction, the company who brought you Bad Guys in Suits and The Regulars: the Epic War Rock Musical about Waiters, is currently accepting submissions for playwrights, directors, and actors for their 2ND ANNUAL HOBO-ROBO NEW COMEDIC WORKS FESTIVAL to be held October 11-13. All submissions are due by Friday, August 6th.

We are looking for 10 minute comedic works. They must be original, creative, fresh and above all, ridiculous. We celebrate new comedy so all submissions must be works that make you laugh. Don’t worry about us, we laugh at everything. HELP SUPPORT NEW COMEDY! SUBMIT!

Playwrights: Pieces should be 7-10 page original comedic works. Any play over 15 pages will not be considered! Submissions will be reviewed by committee and 7-9 works shall be chosen.

Directors: Please send resume and your top 3 favorite comedic films to HoboJunction@sbcglobal.net. Directors will be chosen by August 10th. Please include "ATTN: DIRECTORS" in the subject heading.

Actors: Send Headshot/Resume to Hobojunction@Sbcglobal.net. You will be contacted in early August with your audition time and what to prepare. Please include “ATTN: CASTING” in the subject heading.
