TheMASSIVE will be casting Actors, Dancers, and a Gospel Singer for its production of Macbeth.

You know TheMASSIVE from its sexy, addictive movement last seen in 2011's Faust. Now, Executive Artistic Director Kyle Vincent Terry is putting its own spin on Shakespeare's shortest, but one of his bloodiest, tragedies, Macbeth. This tale of a man caught between the coveting of power and the possession of it is re-imagined as a 1930's Dust Bowl-era play, with the flair of a "Spaghetti Western" film. Set in a Kansas town where water is at a premium, but lives aren't, the characters range from the destitute to the newly-rich, the Christian to Kiowa Native, the insane to the...well, insane.

ACTORS: should prepare one classical and one contemporary monologue not to exceed 90 seconds each. Classical monologue must be in verse. We want to see your range as well as your specificity. Diversity encouraged.

*Special Talents welcome. If you happen to play an instrument, sing, do magic, etc. let us know! It may be of use.

SINGERS: looking for one singer with the ability to belt in a traditional southern gospel style. Alto desired. Singers should prepare 1 minute or 11 bars of a cappella material.

Seeking: 10-12 dancers to be witches. Strong, emotive movers, preferably of Latin or Native American appearance. Ability to learn choreography quickly is a must but pointed toes are unnecessary. Movement is rooted in traditional tribal dance. Ability to imbue simple steps with deep emotion and find the beat is most important.
