We are looking for an understudy for the role of Alfred Lunt in Ten Chimneys, directed by BJ Jones. The best guy for the job will be around 6 feet tall, 40-55 years old, and have a facility with style and comedy.

All understudies for TEN CHIMNEYS are welcome at any/all rehearsals, but are contracted to start at tech rehearsal, March 4th. (We start regular rehearsals on February 16th!)
They are non-union.

They are expected to attend 2 previews (March 9th - 15th).

We have understudy rehearsals on Thursday and Friday afternoons, noon to 5pm, once we have opened the show (March 16th).

Because of some scheduling/casting idiosyncrasies, we will probably have an understudy rehearsal on Wednesday, March 15th, noon to 5pm and Tuesday, March 20th, 12:30-6:30pm. The understudy rehearsal that would normally be on Friday, March 23rd is likely to be a put-in rehearsal for one of the other understudies.

Attend 2 shows a week. We close on April 15th (with a possible extension until April 22nd)

Understudies call in for the other 6 shows a week, rather than having to be present for 8 shows a week.

We pay a stipend for the whole gig.
