The UnderGround Effect at Gorilla Tango Theatre

Prom is just around the corner. Jakira feels time is running out to find a prom date. A miracle occurs and she happens to find not only the finest prom date who happens to be the appealing quarterback of the football team, but the guy of her dreams...except he is White and she is Black. Ridicule, prejudice, and harsh rumors do not stop these two from falling in love - not even their families can tell them otherwise. They are convinced that they are meant for each other despite their interracial relationship until Jakira is faced with a serious epiphany to continue her swirl.
