While many people carry around a bit of emotional baggage, Rick has an entire set of matching luggage -- with extra carry-ons -- as psychology student Allison discovers when she moves next door. In Playing Hearts, written by Tanise Robnett, Rick is at a loss after a breakup with his girlfriend Jade. Having a hard time letting go, Rick creates a fantasy world of women in his head: his junior high crush Lorilyn, the eccentric barfly Sally, an unnamed woman of mystery, and Jade herself. See Talif Production's first play, focusing on contemporary issues of the heart, at Chicago's Public House Theatre.
