Oleanna Reviews
Chicago Reader- Somewhat Recommended
"...Oleanna attempted to explore the issue through three conversations between a rather pompous and distracted but well-intentioned male professor and a clueless female student, who comes under the influence of a feminist group and charges him with sexual harassment and rape, ruining his life and career. It's a nasty little play, and it has not aged well. Mamet clearly takes the side of the professor (the patriarchy?), which is all too apparent in Fury Theatre's new production. Mark Dodge's performance as the professor is far superior to Laura Deger's as the student; he's a human being, while she's shrill and robotic, spouting Mamet's lines without considering their meaning."
