Casting Announced for First National Tour of MJ

In a thrilling development, acclaimed producers Lia Vollack, John Branca, John McClain, and Broadway In Chicago have announced that Roman Banks - a luminary in Broadway's Dear Evan Hansen and "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series" - will personify Michael Jackson in the inaugural National Tour of MJ.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Director Christopher Wheeldon noted, "I am extremely excited that the incredibly talented Roman Banks will soon be dazzling audiences across America as Michael Jackson in MJ. Roman is a stunning performer, and we are lucky to have him leading the company on our first National Tour."

The First National Tour of MJ is set to make its debut in Chicago at the James M. Nederlander Theatre (24 W. Randolph St.) from the 1st of August to the 2nd of September, 2023. Details about the full cast will be disclosed at a future date.
