Tina - The Tina Turner Musical to play at Nederlander Theatre in Chicago
The musical TINA - THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL is coming to Chicago from March 14 - April 2, and it's sure to be an unforgettable experience. TINA will play for these three weeks at the James M. Nederlander Theatre.
TINA - The Tina Turner Musical is a remarkable story of resilience and triumph, showcasing the legendary rise of the Queen of Rock n' Roll who broke countless barriers along the way.
Tina Turner, one of the most successful artists in music history, has won 12 Grammy Awards and drawn millions to her live performances - more tickets sold than any other solo artist.
This stage adaptation of the life of Tina Turner, which was created in collaboration with the iconic artist herself, had its world premiere in London in April 2018. It earned five-star reviews and set new box office records at the Aldwych Theatre. In March 2019, it opened its German production at Stage Operettenhaus in Hamburg, followed by its Dutch production at the Beatrix Theater in Utrecht in February 2020. Recently, a third European production opened at the Teatro Coliseum in Madrid, Spain in 2021.
"It has been years since I toured the US and I am very excited that my own musical can now bring my music and story to my fans in their home cities across America. It's a homecoming and that is very special to me," said Tina Turner.

"We can't wait to introduce America to the two megawatt superstars-Naomi Rodgers and Zurin Villanueva - who will share the role of Tina, Garrett Turner in the role of Ike, and the incredibly talented company who are hitting the road on tour!"
