Johnny Tremain- Lifeline Theatre

Theatre In Chicago is proud to announce the debut of a weekly Theatre podcast show called Talk Theatre In Chicago. For the first show, host Tom Williams sits down for an interview with the Artistic Director of the Lifeline Theatre, Dorothy Milne.  The Lifeline Theatre has just opened with their new show Johnny Tremain.  In this show the American Revolution comes to life in this Newbery Award-winning coming-of-age tale. The theatre recreates the Boston Tea Party and Paul Revere's ride as audiences come face to face with John Hancock, Samuel Adams and other Sons of Liberty.

Talk Theatre In Chicago will debut the first show on the site on February 13, 2006. This weekly show will come out with a new episode every Monday and will be a source to hear what is going on in the Chicago theatre scene. Talk Theatre In Chicago will feature the latest reviews, the most in depth interviews with the artists that are actually creating the theatre, and the most important theatre news for the Chicago theatre area.

The host of the show will be Chicago theatre critic Tom Williams.  With over 300 reviews a year, Tom has great insight into the Chicago theatre scene. Each week he will interview the people who are making news in the theatre here in Chicago as well as give his recommendations of the shows to see.

Hosting the news segment will be Dustin Mote. Dustin is a local actor and voiceover artist who has his finger on the pulse of the Chicago theatre news scene. He began the world's first Theatre News Podcast at Talk Theatre, which has united with Theatre in Chicago to become Talk Theatre in Chicago, where Dustin is the leading news anchor.

Launched in late 2005, Theatre In Chicago has quickly become a great source of information for the Chicago Theater-going public.  Developed by Mark Meyer, the site strives to give users an easy, intuitive way to browse through all of the shows that are in Chicago.
