Love, Loss, And What I Wore Reviews
Chicago Reader- Not Recommended
"...The title may be the best thing about this disappointing production of the long-running off-Broadway hit, adapted by Nora and Delia Ephron from Ilene Beckerman’s 1995 memoir. Most of the performances lack zest, and this flat script needs superb actors to give it the illusion of depth. The pace of this staging for First Folio Theatre is slow. And though fashion is the central motif, Rachel Lambert's costumes fail to dazzle."

"...Those who enjoy giving much thought to fashion, and who buy into the modern-day trend that no subject is taboo for public discussion will delight in "Love..."Others may ask why should I care? Is the humor enough to carry the show? See it as a fun night out with the girls with good laughs, but expect some reality moments."

"...First Folio's new production, "Love, Loss and What I Wore" is a hoot! Since I could totally relate to almost every wardrobe anecdote, I ended up laughing until my cheeks hurt. When I thought about it afterwards, I realized that the major occasions in my life have been defined by my clothes, just like these women. Ladies, you'll want to get your girlfriends together, this is the play for you! I give "Love, Loss and What I Wore" 4 Spotlights."
