"...The story, about eight students who run afoul of school authorities when they rebel against the ACT, is predictable and underwritten. The poems are standard-issue slam screeds that too often substitute self-righteous rage for revelation. That these performers create as much drama as they do on a mostly bare stage makes me wish they had written stronger material for themselves."
