Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol

Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol

Stage 773
1225 W Belmont Ave Chicago

Originally produced at the Goodman Theater in 1998 and re-staged at Theater Wit in 2009, this play written by Chicago actor Tom Mula explores the life of Jacob Marley, the business partner of Ebenezer Scrooge, as he tells his story in a journey of laughter and terror, redemption and renewal, during which Scrooge's heart, indeed, is opened; but not before Marley-in this irreverent, funny and deeply moving story-discovers his own.
