Scott's solid cast invests in the rather obvious conflicts with relish, nailing the laugh lines with reliable skill. But the show feels a bit like bingeing on salt water taffy: You may chew your way through to the end and wonder why you bothered to spend so much time and effort on a concoction that delivers less flavor than its bright surface hue promises."

"..."...Molly Smith Metzler's 2011 satire juggles humor and pathos to mixed effect, but strong acting keeps things lively. When working-class Devon (Carley Moseley) visits her younger sister Simone, who's working as a personal assistant to a Martha's Vineyard socialite, she grows horrified at Simone's newly skewed sense of reality and entitlement. Devon quickly allies with caretaker Jos-B (can't have two people named Jose on staff) to lampoon the Gossip Girl-caliber excess, but eventually she learns that there's more to the socialite, Michaela (played with wry humor and surprising grace by Jacqueline Grandt), than her designer soaps let on."

"...Directed by Steve Scott on a striking set(Ross G, Hoppe) that clearly “outclasses” the play, we are in a summer beach house on an estate at Martha’s Vineyard, where Simone ( the lovely Elizabeth Argus) has brought her sister , Devon ( a powerful portrayal of a character who is somewhat under-developed deftly handled by Carley Mosely. Simone is the personal assistant to the rich and highly pampered, and extremely selfish Michaela ( played over the top by one of my favorites, Jaqueline Grandt). As good as she gets, the script is lacking in revealing some of the story that we, the audience need to know!"
