The Bronte sisters were three of the most studied and admired writers of all time. From Charlotte's Jane Eyre to Emily's Wuthering Heights to Anne's The Tenant of Wildfell Hall, each sister took the storytelling games they played together as children and used those skills to craft lasting works of 19th century literature. Now you can see portrayals of the most celebrated sisters in the English language, alongside some of their most famous characters, in playwright Polly Teale's Bronte. Digging deep into the artistic motivations of each Bronte sister, this play at Chicago's Athenaeum Theatre explores what it means to be a woman in any era.
