ENGAGE: A Choose-Your-Own-SciFight-Adventure

Pay: $300 Stipend

Description:

A Smuggler, Android, Alien, and Space Monk walk into a bar. Wait, no, a spaceship. Yeah, a spaceship. What next? That's up to one lucky audience member!

A friendly, fight-filled spoof on all your favorite sci-fi tropes, ENGAGE! is a choose-your-own adventure book, role-playing game, and stellar stage combat-fueled piece of theatre all rolled up into one.

ALL ROLES AVAILABLE TO PEOPLE OF ANY GENDER, RACE, ETHNICITY, AND AGE RANGE

- Y (Interstellar Space Guide) - NO combat required. Y controls the flow of the show, explains the rules, administers choices and puzzles, and manages the Player character. Extremely idiosyncratic, enthusiastic, and a touch whimsical. Imagine if "The Doctor" ran a game show.

- Alien- Experienced Stage Combatant Required - Lawful Neutral. Alien is a vicious, aggressive, honor/glory-driven assassin who doesn't speak common very well. It refers to itself as "It".

- Smuggler- Experienced Stage Combatant Required - Chaotic Neutral. Cocky, wry, de facto Capt. of the ship. Arrogant, folksy, selfish, and out for a good time while scrapin' by.

- Android- Experienced Stage Combatant Required - Neutral Good. A walking earnest computer who tries to be as useful and "good" as possible. Data/Vulcan hybrid. Organic lifeforms' emotions and illogical nature do not compute.

- Space Monk- Experienced Stage Combatant Required - Chaotic Good. We can't legally say J*di, but kinda one of those. Sp.M. is traveling around sowing the seeds of empathy and compassion wherever the Goddess Foon guides them to atone for their dark and twisted past.

- Villain- Experienced Stage Combatant Required - Lawful Evil - Bombastic, egotistical, theatrical bounty hunter extraordinaire. Trying to get rich and powerful off of people's suffering.
