In the style of The Daily Show or Last Week Tonight, this ensemble-driven show will consist of four to five 2-minute segments (anything from a rant about local/national politics to simple premise/joke delivery).
Casting: Seeking 5 or 6 comedians, all types, 18+, with the possibilities of guest comics every week.
Character Breakdown: Cast will be asked to create a character to showcase their unique style and delivery. Each participant will be responsible for writing their own content and helping fine-tune the show on the whole.
Rehearsals will take place every week Tuesday nights from 6:30 pm until 8pm. We will table read each other's bits, add suggestions, and decide on a theme for the next week's show.
Performances: The bits will be filmed without an audience at The Public House Theatre Theatre in front of a green screen, or out in the city. There will be a 24 hour window from 8pm Tuesday to 8pm Wednesday where comedians will come in to film their segments.
