Griffin Theatre is currently seeking musician submissions for their upcoming 2017 summer production of RAGTIME, directed by Scott Weinstein

Seeking:

Clarinet player: An exceptional clarinet player comfortable working in both solo and ensemble settings. This musician will also function as a member of the company along with our two pianists - comfort with light staging or any previous acting experience will be helpful. This musician will also occasionally be responsible for some light percussion and foley work. Additional instrument doubling, while useful, is not required.

NOTE: This musician will not be required to be present at all company rehearsals, but we are seeking someone who is interested/available in being present for some staging rehearsals before tech (starting at/around the beginning of May) and working as a collaborative artist, not solely as a traditional pit player.

Doctorow, is set at the dawn of a new century where the lives of three distinct American families from different backgrounds intersect in their search for the American dream.
