The 2nd Act Players will be holding auditions Monday evening from 6-9 p.m., Aug. 1 at its theater in Northminster Church, Evanston. Seeking to fill two roles, one male, one female, and two understudy slots, one male, one female, for its fall production of the world premiere of the new play The Institute, which begins at a 45-year high school reunion and then travels back to the turbulent Vietnam War era.
Each actor will play three roles in the production, so experienced, versatile actors with stage background preferred.
Roles are for a man and woman in their late 50s/early 60s.
Pay: $50 wardrobe stipend
Rehearsals start Sept. 12, Monday-Wednesday evenings weekly, show opens Oct. 21, runs Fridays-Sundays, through Nov. 13. Actors must have own transportation to reach Evanston for rehearsals and shows. Please only ask to audition if you can fully commit to the show rehearsal and performance schedule.
