Pride Films & Plays seeks genderqueer and female actors of all ethnicities for RESOLUTION a world premiere by Heather McNama and Nancy Nyman directed by Diana Raiselis

On New Years' Eve in New York City, 1892, high-society couple Jack and Hannah Buchannon take a night off from the holiday parties and charity events to enjoy each other's company -- but when their staunchly traditional maid discovers the couple is not all they appear to be, their lives are thrown into jeopardy. A vintage queer thriller for the modern age.

JACK BUCHANNON: late 20s-30s, handsome and confident. Presents to the world as a "man's man," Hannah's dapper husband -- but in the privacy of their home, is revealed to be Hannah's beautiful wife. Levelheaded, able to fluidly shift mannerisms across the gender binary.

HANNAH BUCHANNON: late 20s-30s, expressive, bubbly, a beam of light. Full of romantic ideals; leads with her heart instead of her head. Desperate for real friendship in a world that runs on manners and appearances. At times, we can see just how calculated her feminine exterior really is.
