Minnie is a 24-year-old Vietnamese-American born in San Diego to first generation immigrant parents. She is a tough-talking millenial with rockabilly style currently underemployed and estranged from her family. In the play, through an unwanted pregnancy and circumstances beyond her control, she ends up in a complicated relationship with a deeply insecure, divorced older white man. Note: while nudity is negotiable, she is involved in a depiction of sex in the play.
