The Agency Theater Collective seeks submissions for their upcoming auditions for Chagrin Falls by Mia McCullough, directed by Sommer Austin. Unless otherwise specified, all ethnicities encouraged to apply.
The characters:
IRENE - A weather-worn woman (40s to early 50s)
RILEY - A recent retiree from the local slaughterhouse (50s) THADDEUS - A prison guard, 21 years old
PATRICE - Half-Vietnamese, a grad student in journalism, female, 26 years old (prefer actors of at least partial Southeast Asian descent)
HENRY - A prison guard, 20 years old
REVEREND - 30-50 years old We are also seeking understudies for some of the roles.
There will be a stipend of $150 for actors and $50 for understudies.
Auditions will be in Ravenswood.
Rehearsals will begin September 11th and run through the end of October, performances will run Oct. 28th-Dec. 11th, Thurs-Sat 7:30pm and Sundays at 3pm.
Actors will be provided with a draft of the script and sides to prepare for the audition.
