First Folio Theatre in Oak Brook, IL is seeking headshots and resumes from non-Equity actors for their summer, 2016 production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, adapted and directed by Hayley Rice. Must be local - no housing or transportation available, and not accessible to public transportation. Carpooling possible.
Seeking the following:
Helena: female 5'7 or over with lighter hair color (or willing to dye.) Comfortable with movement, stage combat and/physical comedy skills a plus.
Hermia: female 5'4 or under with darker hair color (or willing to dye.) Comfortable with movement, stage combat and/physical comedy skills a plus.
Lysander: male, comfortable with movement, stage combat and/physical comedy skills a plus. Demetrius: male, comfortable with movement, stage combat and/physical comedy skills a plus.
Egeus: male, over 50
Mechanicals: Male. Any age. Any type. Must have comic timing.

2 contrasting classical, one minute each. 1 must be Shakespeare and verse, 1 must be comedic.
