Shedd Aquarium
Singer-Instrumentalists

Pay: Yes

Description:

Shedd Aquarium is auditioning male and female singer-instrumentalists for our upcoming production of Holiday One World. Musicians must be experienced, able to read music and able to blend with other vocalists while playing. Instruments sought are acoustic guitar, electric guitar, electric bass, and drums (it is not necessary for the drummer to sing, but is a plus). Also open to hearing other instruments such as banjo, mandolin, violin - anything with an electric pickup, that can be played while singing (i.e. no horns). Musicians must own or have access to their own instruments with pickups, and be comfortable performing in a large pool of water and being very close to large marine mammals. Please submit a headshot/photo and resume and specify what instrument you play when you reply. Rehearsals begin Sunday, October 25; the show runs daily from November 27 through January 2.

Pay: Compensation is $600.00 per week.
