Midsommer Flight seeks actors for winter production of TWELFTH NIGHT, directed by Producing Artistic Director Beth Wolf, and performed inside the Lincoln Park Conservatory. Seeking: Actors of all ages, types, and ethnicities(especially African American and Latino/a) encouraged to submit. In addition to strong classical actors, we are also seeking several actor-musicians who will play/sing music throughout the show in addition to speaking roles.
Rehearsals begin on or around October 26, 2015, evenings and weekends only, with time off during the week of Thanksgiving. Performances run December 4-19, Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 PM. This is a short performance run between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Required for all: one 1-2 minute Shakespeare monologue. Optional if you play and sing: one short song, 1 minute or less. Please bring your own instrument and plan to self-accompany.
