Seeking a high school aged female for the role of Rachel or Sally. 4th Graders is collaboration between The Hypocrites and The Yard, a new company comprised of Senn Arts Theatre students. This special collaboration between these two companies will play eight performances (October 30th-November 8th) at The Den Theatre's Heath Main Stage.

Rachel: 4th grader. Pure, innocent, sweet, sad. Bullied by Sally and Brenda and Mike Rice because she is fat (although that body type is not required for the role). Desperately in love with Johnny, but knows their love cannot be because she feels she is unworthy of his love.

"I cannot bear this chore anymore/This chore for your like for me/It weighs in me/Like Bad For Me Food/Yellow cake I should not have eaten/I do not deserve the yellow cake/My pedatrishun says that I do not deserve the sweetness of the yellow cake/I do not deserve the yellow cake of your like for me/I cannot have it/I cannot have you."

Sally: 4th grader. Pretty, petty, cunning, mean, rich. Dating Mike Rice even though she states they are no longer boyfriend/girlfriend and that she is "over with him, okay, over with him". Sally is the seed of every bitch you hated in high school but kinda wanted to be.

"Well/It seems that your fat little girlfriend left in a hurry/Doesn't it seem that way?/Johnny?/I think the boyfriend/girlfriend got into a yelling at/And now they punishing each other/A gift, some juice/To help with your tragedy/Because I am rich/Because cold goes with juice/Like Sally goes with Johnny."
