Harper Ensemble Theatre Company announces auditions for The Tempest by William Shakespeare, adapted for the stage and directed by Laura Pulio Colbert with original music by Steve Goers.
This non-traditional adaptation will incorporate music and movement. Dancers, gymnasts/tumblers and singers are encouraged to audition. You do NOT need to be a Harper College student to audition and all roles are open (age range 16-75). There is no pay.
Auditions will be held at Harper College campus at 1200 West Algonquin Road, Palatine IL , Parking Lot #2 in the Liberal Arts Center Drama Lab (L109).
Rehearsals will begin in mid-January 2016. Production dates are March 11-20, 2016.
Please prepare one Shakespeare monologue. Headshot and resume at audition are appreciated but not required.
