Crowded Bookshelf Dramatics is holding auditions for William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. The show will be performed at the Black Rock bar. All roles are open and will be cast regardless of gender, sex, race, age, height, or Hogwarts House affiliation. Auditions will be held at The Foxhole - 2444 W. Montrose Ave.
Rehearsals: August 24-September 25
Monday - Thursday from 7-11pm and Saturdays from 1-5pm.
Performances: Sep. 29, Oct. 3, 4, 10, and 11.
Your favorite 1-2 minute Shakespearean monologue. Pick whichever monologue you have always wanted to do - it doesn't matter if it suits your gender or 'type.' It's most important that you have fun performing it! So if you're a guy who secretly thinks he would make an awesome Lady Macbeth, bring that performance to us. If you'd be a killer female Iago, we want to see that as well.
If you play an instrument and/or sing, please prepare 16-32 bars of a song that showcases your talent. All styles welcome.
