Random Acts seeks five young women and one man (18-early 30's) for the World Premiere of Ladies Night Of The Living Dead directed by Bryan Renaud for the Chicago Fringe Festival this September.

A cheap hotel room with a bathtub full of booze ensures that Sarah's bachelorette party will be a prenuptial night to remember - but when a zombie outbreak plagues Chicago, she and her five friends find themselves battling challenges much more sobering than waking up naked in the IHOP bathroom. Like BRIDESMAIDS with a bloody twist, the walking dead put the ladies' bonds to the test...spilling secrets, lies, and intestines along the way.

Available Roles:

Sarah - The bride-to-be. A feminist that often cannot speak for herself. She is sweet and funny, and shows a budding maturity.

Marcie - Sarah's best friend. The Mean Girl. Shrill, rude, and cruel to the core. Refuses to let go of her college ways.

Carol - One of Sarah's good friends. She clearly has feelings for Sarah. Very confident in who she is and what she wants.

The Stripper/Jason - These roles will be cast with the same actor. The stripper should have a nice body and be able to move well enough. Partial nudity required. Jason is a soft-spoken romantic.

Nancy - Jason's pregnant sister. She's only invited to the party because the other women felt obligated. Think "Naperville Mom."

Laura - The party girl. She's approximately 100% more drunk than she should be. Opinionated, goofy, and extremely insecure.

The Details:

Initial auditions will consist of cold readings and will take place on Wednesday, July 15th from 6-10pm. Callbacks will take place on Sunday, July 19th from 4pm-7pm. All auditions and rehearsals will take place at the Pendulum Space, located at 1803 West Byron Street, Suite 216.
