Take Me Back is the story of Bill, a young felon who's just moved back home to Muskogee Oklahoma after serving four years in prison. Bill may have his freedom, but Muskogee is as much a cage as prison was. He is now friendless, loveless, and saddled with the responsibility of taking care of his loving but diabetic mother. With little to no options in front of Bill will he revert to his old ways? Or will his girlfriend Julie save him from a dead-end life in small town Oklahoma? Take Me Back is ultimately a story that questions whether people can change and shines a light on the power of love to help each of us move forward one day at a time.

Bill (Male, mid-late 20's) is fresh out of serving four years for a felony charge and living with his mother in the same house in which he grew up. In-between taking care of his mother and trying to find some work in Muskogee, he has taken back up moving stolen materials. He has a huge heart but his reckless drive for freedom may just burn him up in the end.

Sue (Female, 50's) is Bill's mother. She and Bill have a mutually dependent relationship. She watches out for him and lets him stay with her after he gets out of jail, while he tries to help her curb her debilitating sugar addiction. She is loving and compassionate but relatively unable to take care of herself alone.

Casey (Female or Transgender, 17 - 19) works at Best Buy and hates it. She has a rough aggression that she typically uses to intimidate others, but now she has stolen $10,000 worth of Macbooks with Bill and is terrified of being caught. How far will Casey go for the money she needs to get out of Muskogee? And when faced with harsh consequences what actions will she take to define her future?
