Refuge Theatre Project seeks 4 male actor/singers ages 18 - 25 for its upcoming Midwest Premiere of Glory Days, Music & Lyrics by Nick Blaemire and Book by James Gardiner, opening August 29, 2015. "A year after graduating high school, four best friends reconnect on their old school's football field. Will has called the boys together with a mission: to hack into the sprinkler system so that it goes off when the jocks who bullied them in high school take the field for a charity game. But as the guys wait for instructions on how to break into the system, they quickly realize how dramatically their lives have grown apart. With a soaring pop-rock score, Glory Days is a poignant and witty coming-of-age story about friends searching for understanding and validation as they face the consequences of growing up."

Character Descriptions:

Will: The Observer. Will holds his friend and the glory days dearly. A writer, he waxes nostalgic because he is scared of growing up and apart from the group that made him who he is.

Skip: The Cynic. Coming back from a prestigious school, he's the one who matured from boy to man...and will let you know it. Sharp wit and intelligent.

Andy: The Bro. Joined a frat and proudly wears his letters. He's the one who has stayed closest to Will and is an outsider even to his own group.

Jack: The Voice of Reason. He's reticent to talk about what has happened in the past year for good reason. He is sweet, but still able to stand up for himself.

Performers of all ethnic and racial backgrounds are encouraged to attend.
