Village Theatre Guild, Ltd., in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, a non-professional theatre company, is holding auditions for their late spring production of the Joseph Jefferson award-winning Boy Gets Girl. by Rebecca Gilman, a thriller set in modern day New York.
We are seeking 7 actors, 3 female and 4 male, in ages ranging from early 20's to mid 70's.
Auditions will be held Sunday, March 22 at 6:30 p.m. at the theatre located on the west side of Park Blvd. just north of Butterfield Rd. in Glen Ellyn, IL, in the little white schoolhouse. Callbacks, if needed, will be held Monday, March 23 at 6:30 p.m. Auditions are open...no appointments are necessary.
The play opens Friday, May 22 and runs through Saturday, June 13, with performances Friday and Saturday nights and some Saturday and Sunday matinees.
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.
