Gorilla Tango Burlesque seeks to cast male and female understudies for our open-run productions including DD7 in Thunderballs: A James Bond Boylesque, A Nude Hope: A Star Wars Burlesque, and Holy Bouncing Boobies!: A Batman Burlesque.
Auditions will be dance-based with light cold readings, held on Sunday, February 8th from 6:00-10:00pm, scheduled in groups in 1-hour slots divided by gender.
Seeking Men and Women, 21 and over only please. Must be comfortable stripping down to pasties and panties. Performers with comedy, improv, and/or dance backgrounds are especially encouraged to submit.
Rehearsals will be 1-2 days per week through February and March and are always scheduled based on actor availability. Understudy positions in ongoing shows perform Fridays or Saturdays at 9:00pm, 10:30pm, or 11:59pm depending on casting. Understudies are guaranteed at least one performance per month.
Audition will consist of a dance taught day-of followed by some light cold readings. Please Note: You will be required to strip at least two items of clothing as part of your group dance audition though no formal burlesque/boylesque training or experience is necessary in order to audition.
