Theater at Monmouth, located in Monmouth, Maine, will be holding Chicago auditions for their 2015 summer company on Sunday, January 11th at The Den Theater (1333 N. Milwaukee Ave, 3rd floor) from 12pm to 5pm. The 2015 Summer Season includes: Shakespeare's Winter's Tale directed by Dawn McAndrews and A Midsummer Night's Dream directed by Janis Stevens; Noel Coward's Fallen Angels directed by Brendon Fox; Tom Stoppard's Real Inspector Hound directed by Matthew Arbour, and Jeffrey Hatcher's adaptation of Henry James' Turn of the Screw directed by James Noel Hoban; and Fool of The World and the Flying Ship adapted by Dawn McAndrews and directed by Ryan Simpson. The summer season operates on an LOA to LORT contract with Actors' Equity and union rules will be followed for Equity and non-Equity actors. Internships are also available.
First rehearsal is June 16 and the season closes on August 23. Each actor in the summer company plays three or four roles; all shows are rehearsed and performed in repertory.
