Christmas on the Air will be performed at Provision Theater Company, 1001 W Roosevelt Rd Chicago.
Provision Theater is seeking 2 non-union male understudies to cover the roles of Danny "the Kid" Frank and Percival B. Frank. Danny "the Kid" Frank is a comic leading man type. Ages 20-35. The Frank's son, and the "Go Boy" of CKOS, Young and in love with Kitty. Must be able to sing and hold harmony. Percival B. Frank is the station manager, main DJ, Sound Technician and newscaster.
A musical play Lucia Frangione and directed by Provision Theater's Artistic Director, Timothy Gregory. Christmas on the Air is a popular hit from the Pacific Northwest and a new holiday classic for Chicago about Yolanda and Percival B. Frank's annual Christmas radio show including a "live studio audience". Filled with classic Christmas music and stories.
Rehearsals start Oct. 27 and will take place primarily Monday thru Friday, 6:00 PM to 10 PM, until tech week, which will involve weekend rehearsals.
Previews: Wednesday November 26 and Friday November 28
Opening: Saturday November 29
Closing: Sunday December 28
Performances: Fridays & Saturdays at 8:00 PM, Sundays at 3:00 PM
