We are seeking men and women of all ages for the following roles in our first main Production Rise of the Real Man:
D (Dwayne Jackson): Late twenties man of a professional standard yet short tempered at times.
Crystal: Late twenties, devoted Christian and a little naive
Monique: Early teens and is an irresponsible woman.
Jamaal: Late-teens and Monique's boyfriend
Foots: Late teens a drug dealer, violent individual, and sex crazed maniac.
Brandy: Early teens, naïve and a battered woman
Extras:
Foots Dad, Foots Mom, Little Foots, group of kids, group of people, and two masked men
Auditions will be held at Harold Washington Library 400 South State Street 8th floor music room
Rehearsals for at least three hours on October 16th, 17th, 18th, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 30th, 31st, November 1st, 6th, 7th, 8th, 13th,14th,15th,20th,21st,22nd , 24th and 25th. All rehearsal are scheduled from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Performance will take place on December 5th and 6th 2014 @ 1140 North Lamon.
Please prepare 1 to 2 minute monologue and be prepared to do some improv.
