Steel Beam Theatre, 111 W. Main St. in St. Charles, announces auditions for Ordinary Days on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at 2:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 at the theatre. This is a drop-in, no appointments needed. Director Richard Pahl and Music Director Matt Gruel seek the following: Warren, tenor, in his 20s, innocent, eager, romantic, optimistic, cheerful, aspiring artist and art lover; Deb, mezzo, in her 20s, dissatisfied, cynical, defensive grad student; Jason, tenor, in his 30s, ready for a commitment; and Claire, mezzo, in her 30s, still dealing with the past.
Performance Dates: April 10 - May 3, 2015/
Fridays & Saturdays at 8:00, Sundays at 3:00
Please prepare a musical number not from the show, but in the vein of the show, (contemporary musical theatre), that will showcase your acting ability. You may be asked to sing a second, contrasting song. Callbacks if necessary will be held on November 2, 2014. You will be asked to sing something from the show.
