Playhouse 38 is looking for actors for several of their upcoming shows this year.
The Groom has Cold Feet is a comedic murder mystery and will require 9 Women
and 6 men incorporating a wide range.
MEN:
Sheriff Tickle (40-60's) - Sheriff of Pine Grove
Milton (20-60) - Not-so-bright deputy
Harley Stuber (30-50's) - Poor farmer looking for a wife (any!)
Sam (25-40) - Mysterious stranger
Albert Webster (40-60) - Groom: Hated Man; Owns almost everything in town
Virgil (30-60) - Poor farmer, Albert's best man
WOMEN:
Mabel Mayfield (20-60) - Works at local mercantile
Della Tinsdale (40-60) - Town Gossip
Beverly Hall (40-60) - Town Gossip
Caroline Pickens (40-60) - Town Gossip
Sarah Tickle (20-30) - Sheriff's daughter's sidekick
Darveen Steep (30-40) - Former girlfriend of groom, saloon girl
Kayla May Blosson (20-30) - Reluctant bride
Gladys Clark (20-30) - Kayla's best friend & maid of honor
Hazel Blossom (40-50) Mother of bride
Shows will be October 17th, 18th, & 19th with a possibility of a second weekend (October 23rd, 24th, & 25th)
Rehearsals are tentatively set for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings. A detailed schedule will be provided after casting. Tech week is required and may be October 12th through 16th from 6:30-10pm.
All rehearsals and shows will be at Playhouse 38, 524 W. State Street, Geneva, Il.
