Description:

Casting actors to play "Jean Baptiste Pointe DuSable," and "Kittihawa" at the DuSable Museum as well as at various sites throughout the USA. Traveling performances may require driving the DuSable Mobile Museum.

Characters:
Male, Jean Baptise Pointe DuSable ages 21-34, African, Haitian or African American Descent. French or Creole accent a plus!

Female, Kittihawa ages 19-25 Native American Descent.

A valid driver's license and a good driving record required. Comfort driving an 8 foot wide by 34 foot long vehicle would be a plus. The DuSable Mobile Museum is a traveling, interactive exhibit which explores the life and times of Jean Baptiste Pointe DuSable, an African Haitian, who in 1779 became the first non-native person to establish a permanent settlement in Eschikagou ("the place of smelly onions"), which we now call Chicago.

Audition dates will be scheduled once submissions are reviewed. Auditions will be held at DuSable Museum 740 E 56th Place Chicago IL 60637
