Bluebird Arts will be holding auditions for their upcoming production of The Clean House by Sarah Ruhl on Sunday, February 23rd from 10am to 2pm at The Athenaeum Theatre.
Please see the following for character descriptions and material to prepare:
Charles (35 to 45): Handsome and scholarly, yet childlike. Must be able to tell a good joke, sing, and play guitar. Prepare one joke and 16 bars of a song with guitar.
Lane (Same age as Charles, or a little younger): Leading lady type. Prepare a joke.
Anna (50+): Beautiful and impossibly charismatic. Argentinean, or able to speak with an Argentinean accent. Must sing and dance. Prepare 16 bars of a song.
Rehearsals will begin mid-August (location TBD) with previews set to begin Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the Athenaeum Theatre Studio #3. The show opens October 2, 2014 and closes October 25, 2014.
