BrightSide Theatre, Naperville's Only Professional Theatre Performing in the Historic Downtown District has auditions for Jonathon Larson's rock opera RENT, directed by Jeffrey Cass, on February 17th and 18th from 6:30pm-10pm with callbacks on February 19th.
Auditions will be at the performance space at the Theatre at Meiley-Swallow Hall on North Central College's campus, 31 S. Ellsworth in Naperville.
We are casting 7 women and 8 men (at least 18 years of age) and all roles are available.
Rehearsals will begin April 29 and take place in Downers Grove RENT will play June 14th through June 30th. Both the rehearsal hall and performance space are easily accessible by way of Metra.
Bring headshot/resume and prepare 32 bars of a song in the style of the show that best showcases your voice. An accompanist will be provided so please bring sheet music in the key you will be using as no a cappella or recorded music will be accepted.
