Steel Beam Theatre, a not for profit theatre in downtown St. Charles announces auditions for children for their upcoming production of Scrooge the Musical.
Children ages 7 to 15 (under 5'3") are invited to audition for Scrooge the musical on Sunday July 22 from 4-6pm at the theatre. Callbacks will be held on August 1 at 6pm.
SBT is a non-Equity theatre now in it's 12th season of award-winning theatre. Consistently voted "Best Live Theatre in Kane County" by the Kane County Chronicle Reader's Choice Awards, SBT offers a full season of mainstage as well as children's theatre plays and musicals.
Rehearsals begin October 14 Sunday through Thursday evenings. Performances will be held from November 17-December 23. Children will be double cast and each will perform in 12 shows.
Please prepare your favorite Christmas carol to sing a capella.
